A new website, trumpcard.gov, has been launched, outlining a program to streamline the process for certain individuals and businesses seeking U.S. residency. The initiative, dubbed the “Trump Gold Card,” is presented as a visa based on an applicant’s ability to provide a “substantial benefit” to the United States.

The program’s website details the requirements for individuals and businesses. For a single person to obtain a Gold Card, the process involves two steps: first, a nonrefundable processing fee is required. After passing a background check by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the applicant must make a $1 million contribution. Successful applicants will be granted lawful permanent resident status, which is typically classified under the EB-1 or EB-2 visa categories.

The site also introduces a “Trump Corporate Gold Card,” which is designed for businesses. The corporate version has a nonrefundable processing fee per employee and requires a $2 million contribution for each employee upon approval. A notable feature of the corporate card is the ability to transfer the sponsorship to a new employee if a sponsored employee’s tenure ends.

In addition to the Gold Card, a more exclusive “Trump Platinum Card” is advertised as “Coming Soon.” This card is designed for high-net-worth individuals and will allow them to stay in the U.S. for up to 270 days per year. It requires a $5 million contribution after a processing fee and a DHS vetting process. A key benefit of the Platinum Card is that holders would not be subject to taxes on their non-U.S. income. The website notes that a waiting list for this exclusive option is now available.

The website includes a dedicated section for frequently asked questions, addressing topics such as the legal classification of the cards, their tax implications, and the possibility of revocation. The site also provides an application form for interested parties.
