The Trump administration is ending legal protections for over 500,000 Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan, and Venezuelan migrants who entered the U.S. under Biden’s “humanitarian parole” program. According to the Department of Homeland Security, work permits and deportation protections for approximately 532,000 individuals will be revoked on April 24. The official notice, set to be published on March 25, states that those without legal status must leave the U.S. before their parole termination date to avoid deportation.
